2022 Senior & Cadets Points Competition and Novice Junior Judo

What an awesome day on 14 May, so many great fights were seen, we also had the announcement of the JudoSA State Team Members. Congratulations to all who have competed so far this year, your effort is really starting to pay off. With 8 Juniors in 10 categories including 2 doing Kata, along with the 4 Cadets entering 4 divisions then onto the Seniors who have entered into Junior Men & Women, Senior Men & Women Divisions and 4 Members doing Kata.

Our young JudoSA players, those beginners from 5 to 10 years old with junior White/Yellow to Orange belts had a great challenge during the inaugural Novice Junior Judo event. The emphasises was on fun and engagement while learning Judo-related skills. The event finished off with a modified competition, another step on their future Judo journey.

Again, a good turnout of people representing their clubs throughout SA including Adelaide Hills Judo Club, Adelaide University Judo Club, Flinders University Club, Gawler Judo Club, Kazuko Judokan, Kangaroo Judo Club, Parafield Gardens Judo Club, Tiger Judo Club, Western Youth Judo Club. Some of these Judoka winning big points against more experienced players, and trying new techniques. So great job everyone. Hope to see you all at the next competition in July.

Photos to come….
