Astrid Machulik is an International Kata specialist who has visited and trained at the Kodokan for many years. Astrid is the only German judoka to hold diplomas from the Kodokan in all 7 kata: Nage no Kata, Katame no Kata, Kodokan Goshin Jutsu, Kime no Kata, Ju no Kata, Itsutsu no Kata and Koshiki no Kata. She regularly organises Kata courses in Berlin and takes groups of Judoka to the Kodokan in Japan. Astrid also competes in Kata throughout Europe. Astrid Machulik has volunteered to assist the Judoka of SA and those interested from Interstate to expand their knowledge and practice of Kata.

Saturday 7th April – 9 am to 12.30 pm Katame-no-Kata Saturday 7th April – 1.00 pm to 5 pm Nage-no-Kata

Sunday 8th April – 9.00 am to 12.30 pm Goshin-jutsu Sunday 8th April – 1.00 to 4.30pm Kimi-no-Kata

Cost: JFA member – $50/person per day OR $95/person for 3 days Other affiliates – $70/person per day OR $140/person for 3 days
